Oats and Cholesterol – More Good News
News about the good effect of oats on cholesterol is nothing new. But the latest information published in British Journal of Nutrition has shown further information about the benefits. They were able to determine that the oat (β-glucan) did have the effect of lowering all three types. The conclusion was that it may be used as a strategy for lowering risk for cardio-vascular disease. Have you had your oatmeal today?
