The Link Between Obesity and Liver Cancer

at_the_beach_-_male_abdominal_obesity2Additional evidence has been found showing  a link to another type of cancer and obesity. Higher body mass index or  BMI, the size of one’s waist, and type II diabetes, has been shown to provide significant risk for liver cancer. A study published in Cancer Research looked at a large number of subjects, and taking into consideration other factors, determined that the higher your body mass index (BMI), an increase in waist size, and type II diabetes all contribute to higher rates of liver cancer.
