Vitamin E and Metabolic Syndrome
Just last week we reported on new research that showed the potential relationship between vitamin D and metabolic syndrome, a pre-cursor condition for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Now, research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that those with metabolic syndrome require about 30-50 percent more vitamin E than the normal population. Considering that close to one quarter of American adults qualify for metabolic syndrome, mainly because of obesity, this is an important finding and suggests that vitamin E level intakes should be carefully considered.
We offer a wide range of quality nutritional supplements, including vitamin E.
