More on Meal Timing and Weight
We just posted research about how when you can impact weight loss. Another study, this one on humans, takes a different angle, but with similar results. The research, published in The Journal of Nutrition, also found that when you eat and how often during the day will have an effect on your BMI (Body Mass Index). They found the best results when participants ate only one or two meals per day, had an overnight fast of at least 18 hours, ate breakfast, and had breakfast or lunch as the largest meal of the day. Some of the practices may be considered somewhat difficult to achieve for many, but the researchers suggested that people at least consider “eating less frequently, no snacking, consuming breakfast, and eating the largest meal in the morning.”
