Omega-3 Supplements Reduce Cardiac Death

Omega-3 fatty acids have been long associated with a number of health benefits, but for some there remains the question as to whether supplements are as good as dietary sources. A new meta-analysis, published in the Journal of Clinical Lipidology, however, demonstrates that omega-3 fatty acid supplements do work. In fact, when examining all the available research, it was determined that omega-3 supplementation “was associated with an 8% reduction in cardiac death,” and that “larger effects were present with higher dosages and in higher risk subgroups.” All this reinforces the notion that taking a quality omega-3 supplement is a good practice for a longer, healthier life.

We offer a potent omega-3 supplement (purified from heavy metals and other contaminants found in many fish)
