Black Tea Also May Help with Weight Loss
Green tea has been the darling of the health experts and consumers in recent years because of its many health benefits, one of which is weight loss. A new study, however, shows that as far as weight loss is concerned black tea also brings with it many benefits. The research, published in the European Journal of Nutrition, was conducted on mice, and discovered that both green and black teas help with weight loss, but the mechanisms are probably different. The latter seems to work by changing bacteria in the gut, whereas green tea seems to be absorbed directly into the liver for its impact.
